About Stephen

Ever since he was a kid, Stephen enjoyed looking at stuff through other stuff; a gift of a camera from his Dad at age 12 quantified this quirk into a hobby. Years and years of experience gained through trial and error, embarassingly horrible photos, and badly written `how-to' photography books led him to a place of extreme competence, and people started asking him to take pictures for important events, including press kits and weddings. Mostly, photography is a good excuse to wander around, and look for eye-catching compositions that may be otherwise taken for granted. Stephen appreciates the work and writing of Freeman Patterson, among others.
